Types of Flat Belt Pulley :

Flat belt pulley
Solid flat belt pulleys are available in between 6” to 95” of diameter. These are available at a width of 2” to 36”. Sometimes, taper lock pulleys are also included in this flat belt pulley if it is required during the time of manufacturing. Normally CI, CGI, SGI, and aluminum, are used to manufacture these pulleys. These pulleys maintain international standard quality.
Split Flat Pulley
These types of pulleys are mainly available in the diameter between 10” to 95”. This offers dynamic as well as static balance. To prepare these pulleys, CI, CGI, SGI, and aluminum are used. Taper Lock Flat Pulley
These pulleys are widely used in different transmission systems. These are typically driven with flat belts. These are available with lower high- and high-speed applications. Features of Flat Pulley

The flat belt pulleys are availed with a molded crown. This helps to place the belt at the center. This also prevents abrasion against the outside flanges and this helps in getting proper support under the middle of the belt. Most of the stress is noticed under the center of the belt. The crown on the belt helps to maintain the belt on that flat belt pulley. Again, in certain cases to place the belt on the flat pulley, this includes a tracking sleeve.
